Geometric decor, designed and 3D printed in our small Ostrava studio

NIKKUstudio is a young, two-person design practice in Ostrava. We design every piece ourselves, 3D print it to order, hand-finish it on the same desk, and ship it across the European Union.

Why we started

Less mass-produced. More made on purpose.

NIKKUstudio started as a passion project in early 2026. Two people, one printer, and a shared frustration: most of the decor on the market is mass-produced overseas, shipped halfway around the world in shipping containers, and forgotten about by the people who made it long before it ever reaches a home.

We wanted to make a different kind of object. Designed in Europe. Printed locally, in our own studio, only after you've placed your order — so nothing ends up in a clearance bin or a landfill. Made carefully enough that we'd actually want it on our own shelf.

We're a new studio. Honestly — every order still feels like a big deal to us, because it is. The two of us read every message, design every piece, run every print, and pack every box. That is the whole company.

What we believe

Made to a standard, not to a quota

We only ship what we'd put on our own desk

If a piece comes off the printer with a flaw — even one most people wouldn't notice — it doesn't go in a box. It gets reprinted. You don't pay for our reworks, and you never get the second-best version of something.

Made to order, never to stock

Nothing sits on a warehouse shelf. Each piece begins printing only after you order it. That means less waste, fresher materials, and the option to tweak details before we hit start.

Designed and made in Ostrava

Every nikku piece is designed, printed, finished, and packed by the two of us in our Ostrava studio. Nothing is outsourced and nothing is drop-shipped from anywhere else.

Less stuff, made better

We'd rather make fewer pieces with more care than flood the world with another wave of mass-produced decor. Made-to-order keeps the catalogue honest and the footprint small.

How it's made

One studio. One printer. A lot of attention.

We work small on purpose. Here is exactly what goes into a nikku piece — no marketing fluff, no warehouse, no middlemen.

Equipment
A current-generation Bambu Lab printer — one of the most precise consumer 3D printers on the market today.
Materials
Commercial-grade PLA for most decor, PETG for pieces that need durability, and ABS where strength matters most.
Waste
We optimise every print for minimal supports and material use. Failed prints get re-purposed or recycled — never thrown away.
Finishing
Supports removed by hand, edges cleaned, surface inspected under good light. If it isn't right, it gets reprinted before it ever ships.
